Please take a short survey to help our ongoing research:

  • Dr R.R.Sudhir (MBBS, DO, DNB, MPH)

I happen to use the OCUWELL on the first set of patients and it is a wonderful device and it would revolutionise the way in which the Keratoconus and Ectasia can be screened. The device is very easy to use and the image can be captured in no time and can be used in all set ups (individual clinics during basic comprehensive examination, community screening and in contact lens clinics). Low cost of the device will help to use it widely both in developing and in developed countries.

  • Dr Nima Ghadiri

I am a medical ophthalmologist and my practice relies on new technologies. OCUWELL is a simple and portable device that allowed me to capture corneal images of patients in under 2-3 minutes, and use these simple images to get accurate power maps for the cornea. The software is intuitive and easy to use. I envisage that this device would be useful for screening in hard-to-reach areas, triage in corneal clinics and monitoring in the community and post-surgery.

  • Prof Vito Romano

I was impressed to see the result of this innovative device and its close match with a much more expensive commercial device. I see huge potentials for this technology in ophthalmology market, including usage by ophthalmologists, optometrists and GPs.

IAPB is the peak body for the global eye care sector with over 150 members worldwide drawn from NGOs and civil society, corporate organisations, professional bodies and research and eye care institutions. We will be following the progress of OCUWELL and interested in featuring their device on the IAPB Valued Supplier List subject to positive clinical trial evidence.
